Step 1: How do I enter my home information into the MLS Listing system in Utah?

First, you will visit https://intermountainproperties.com, choose your listing package, and enter your house information into our MLS Listing system. Our agents will gather your information and place it into the MLS to ensure your home gets the most exposure possible. You will need to upload pictures of the interior and exterior of the house, enter basic house information such as the year it was built, square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, property size, etc. Then create your account and make your package payment.

Step 2: How long until my MLS Listings are published?

Expect your listing to be published typically within 1 business day. One of Intermountain Properties Agents will contact you to make sure your listing it is at its best, or if there is anything that needs improvement.

Step 3: How to get “Home for Sale” yard signs?

Now, it is time for you to get a sign for your house. If you sign up with the most complete package MLS Listing Services with Intermountain Properties, we will ship to you a FREE Yard Sign. Your free “Home for Sale” sign should arrive in about 2-3 business days from sign up.

Step 4: What to expect once my MLS Listing is published?

You need to be aware that when you list your house for sale as a FSBO – For Sale by Owner, you will not only get calls from buyers and agents from buyers, but also calls from realtors and agents trying to get your business.

Step 5: Who sets up appointments for my MLS Listing?

Be prepared to answer phone calls, text messages, and e-mails. You are your own agent! You will be the one setting up the appointments. As the name says “For Sale by Owner”, which means you are the seller!  🙂

What is the best option to show the house if I cannot be present?
We offer electronic locks that can be unlocked by the visitors so you don’t have to be present for the showing. These electronic locks are safe and they also track visits so you know when and who were at the house last.

Step 6: Tips in showing a house for sale.

Make sure your property is presentable and smelling good! Arrive a few minutes earlier and walk through the property to make sure everything is in order! Turn on the lights, and open some windows. Make sure to point out important aspects of the house such as new appliances, furnaces, AC unit, LED lights, neighborhood, etc…

Step 7: What do I do once I’ve found a buyer for my house, and what about the paperwork?!
